About Puss 'n' Pooch

Puss 'n' Pooch Gallery is the initiative/brainstorm of its proprietor, Jenny Gibson, and rises from her love of animals in general, and cats in particular. As a cat owner, Jenny noted some years ago that it was most difficult if not impossible, to purchase good quality cat-related giftware and collectables.

As a consequence, in 1994, believing there was a market for such products, Jenny with the help of her husband Peter took the bit between her teeth and opened the Puss 'n' Pooch Gallery in Darling St, Balmain (Sydney, Australia) specialising in cat and dog paraphernalia - hence the name.

In 2000, increasing overheads associated with the shop resulted in its closure and Puss 'n' Pooch now operates at most CFA cat shows held in Sydney, and specific country locations, the Sydney Royal Easter Show (located in the Cat Pavilion). We have now ceased attending the Sydney Easter Show as of 2014.

With the huge impact of the 'web' we developed our website in a simple and easy to operate format, not a lot of 'bells and whistles', but with clear images, descriptions and easy navigation. In 2007 we opened an EBay shop which we are happy to say has been a great success.

Whilst the majority of Puss 'n' Pooch's products is related to cats, selling now both on our own website and EBay we have found that there is a huge market for a lot of different animals and therefore you will now find a range of Horses, Owls, Frogs, Cows, Pigs, Elephants, Chooks & Roosters, Donkeys and Dogs - we have a large range of dogs, but are now developing up a selected range of breeds and interesting products. We mostly specialize in Miniatures, Trinket Boxes, Figurines; should you want any particular breeds, please email us and we will let you know what is currently available through our suppliers.
